Our mission & vision
Our mission is the Great Commission: to go and make disciples (Matthew 28:19–20). Our vision is “to make diverse disciples who are passionate for God and compassionate toward people.”
We're a family of everyday people in Cairo, Georgia, learning together what it means to love God and love our neighbors.
What we believe
We're an Assemblies of God church. In plain terms: we believe the Bible is God's Word; that Jesus is the Son of God who died and rose to save us; that the Holy Spirit is alive and at work today; and that God's love is for everyone. Our story
Cairo First Assembly has been part of this community since 1964, home to generations of families worshiping, serving, and growing together right here in Grady County. We're still that same family today, with the door open and a seat saved for you.
Missions & partners
As part of the Assemblies of God family, we get to stand behind ministries far beyond Cairo. One we're proud to support is Chi Alpha at the University of Georgia, the Assemblies of God's campus ministry reaching students in Athens with the Gospel.
